Private Stock uses the same pigments as EFX 500. The binder contains a blend of acrylics designed for airbrush applications where thermal setting (textile) or solvent based clearing (custom painting) is used for permanence. T-shirt artists love it and a growing number use the properties of the E’tac system to custom-design their own mixtures that work best for them. This line of pigments are in fact prime options using the highest light fast ratings without requiring health or precautionary labeling. Private Stock is non-toxic and conforms to ASTM D 4236.

Intended use:

Besides custom painting and textiles as mentioned above, Private Stock can also be used on wood, leather, textiles, glass, metals and plastics that include HDPE, PVC, PET,Lexan or Polycarbonate plastic. Crafters and RC builders as well as all modelers can now enjoy the benefits of an all-round airbrush system that can easily be combined or mixed with the EFX 500 line for special effects and endless blends or color combinations.

A note to fine artists: Private Stock is more resilient and therefore it is much more difficult to erase. After proper heat setting it becomes water resistant. Some fine artists might prefer this chemical make up.

A numerical system is used to divide the Private Stock pigments into 4 groups. Transparent, semi opaque, opaque and fluorescent colors.
  • 100 series - Transparent colors: This is the core of the Private Stock range. These are your premium top of the line pigments, standardized for clarity and performance. The pigments are similar to ink and therefore will stain. The color range is based on using CMYK printing technology with extremely pure ‘process colors’ to enhance the final product. Mixing and matching thousands of hues is possible using this system’s primary colors alone. Additional colors to refine and broaden your mixing and painting capabilities are available as well.
  • 150 series - Semi Opaque colors: These can be useful to blend with the transparent or opaque line. Similar as with all our other products, you will be working with the finest pigments available on the market today. Semi transparent mixtures are often used to blend various colors into a more solid unity but that is just one example. Your imagination is the only limit.
  • 200 series – Opaque colors: Amongst many other applications, you will find these useful to lay out art designs. They are well suited for wood, glass or anywhere else where you wish to block out light. Although you can make opaque colors with our line of transparents and white, they were still in demand so here they are. The pigments are pure and do not contain filler materials. We use pure Titanium Dioxide to achieve opacity and high solid pigments to obtain a very reasonable set of true opaques where strength and durability meet the majority of your needs. Ideal if you need an 'out of the bottle' opaque color.
  • 300 series – Fluorescent colors: These are some of the brightest and hottest fluorescent colors out there. Fluorescent dyes are known to be poor with regards to light fastness. Although our fluorescents will fade as all others do, they are exceptionally stable when compared to other pigments. These colors are used heavily throughout the t-shirt industry.
