The Etac color navigation system

The Etac color navigation system is designed by Eddy Wouters. Understanding color and how to work with it is a vital part of your artistic journey. For that very reason Eddy has designed several, easy to understand color wheels for you. Working with color has just become easier. There are 3 versions for each series (EFX and Private Stock) as you can see below:

What is so special about these color circles?

Our color wheels are based on most universal systems where color is arranged in a logical manner, but there is one big difference: We don't use generic names. All colors as well as their exact position are based on the actual Etac color name (EFX and Private Stock). Practically that means you will be able to locate every (Etac) color on the color circle in relation to all the others. This allows for very precise color matching, assuming that you are using Etac of course. We are using them in our classes with great success. Color matching has become much easier for our students since we have introduced them.

Important: Please be aware that these documents do not contain formula's on how to mix various colors. We strongly recommend that you learn the basics of color mixing which will enable you to match any color that you want by yourself without counting drops.

The Etac Color wheels are designed to be very precise navigation tools in your artistic journey. We designed 3 versions for EFX and 3 for Private Stock showing the shade, tone and tint versions of the color wheel for both systems.

There are two ways for you to get them:
